War, ca. 2001.

In this short excerpt Dora shares her experiences as a child who lived in England when war was declared in 1939, the beginning of World War II. Her family had a small bomb shelter in their backyard, and when bombings began it wasn't long before this shelter saved the lives of her Mother and siblings as they hid inside. She speaks of being evacuated, and of witnessing firsthand the destruction caused by these bombings.
